Rainwater Tanks
You may not know that "poly" tanks are usually made by the process of rotational moulding! There is a globally recognised standard AS/NZS 4766:2020 that guides how these tanks are designed and manufactured to help ensure they will last as long as the promised warranty. ARMA only recommends consumers purchase a tank that is fully and independently certified to a recognised standard.
Polyethylene tanks have grown to dominate the global water tank market as they are lighter and more cost effective than alternative materials. The material ensures pure drinking water with no taint. The manufacturing process of polyethylene tanks has minimal impact on the environment as the process does not release any dangerous chemicals into the atmosphere, creates no noxious gases/odours and the material is able to be 100% recycled. Rainwater tanks are vital to the health of our planet and it’s people. We’ve established an independent portal to help you find out everything you need to know about them.
