This full‑day, in‑person workshop dives into the essential aspects of the rotomoulding process, with content tailored to the experience level and interests of those in the room. About our Presenters
David Stoopman
David has spent more than 40 years in manufacturing and the rotational moulding industry, building successful businesses while supporting industry development and mentoring others. He began his career in 1981 as an apprentice fitter and machinist with W.A. Deutsher Pty Ltd, gaining hands-on experience across multiple divisions before progressing to Operations Manager at Courtenay Polymers and ultimately pursuing his own business ventures.
In 1993, David co-founded a plastic water tank manufacturing business in Officer, Victoria, growing it from a small start-up to a company employing more than 140 staff and turning over more than $23 million annually. After selling, later repurchasing, and rebuilding the business, he has since stepped back from full-time work. A long-standing contributor to ARMA, including serving as President, David continues to support the industry in retirement, most recently as Chair of the PL-046 Australian Standards Technical Committee. Widely respected as an ARMA Industry Icon, he remains a trusted mentor and advocate for rotational moulding across Australasia.
Graeme Hall
With a career that began as an apprentice fitter and turner, he went on to qualify in toolmaking and as a technician, laying the foundation for decades of expertise in plastics manufacturing and engineering. His experience spans plastic extrusion, die-casting press tools, injection moulding, extrusion compounding, and rotational moulding.
Over the years, he has built a career as a toolmaker, design draftsperson, project engineer, engineering manager, and operational management, bringing together deep technical knowledge and practical leadership. He has also played a significant leadership role within the industry, serving as a former board member and past president of ARMA, and currently as a board member and treasurer of ARMO representing ARMA.
As a hands-on rotational moulder with a passion for every aspect of the process, he offers attendees a rare combination of technical depth, real-world operational insight, and industry leadership.
