Rotomoulded polyethylene boats are now a major part of the industry because of the fantastic longevity of the material. Boats constructed of PE do not require coating or painting, and are low maintenance. The come in a huge range of designs and marine growth cannot penetrate the polymer. Rotationally moulded PE vessels are limited by mould design and in size by the oven size and typically do not exceed 5 meters. Rotomolded boats can be single our double wall be foamed for additional buoyancy and strength and because of their lightweight construction and the integral strength of the polymer they can take the harsh environment of water service.
