AS/NZS4766:2006

AS/NZS 4766:2006 is a requirement for most water storage tanks installed either into new homes or when rebates have been given to subsidise the cost of the tanks or installation.Some companies now require certification to the standard for chemical storage tanks.

 

INFORMATION FOR COMPLIANCE OFFICERS & CONSUMERS

Some companies claim compliance to the standard; however ARMA recommends you purchase a tank that is independently certified to the standard for the highest level of confidence in any claims relating to the standard.

You can download a copy of the standard from SAI Global's website.To help you confirm that your tank manufacturer currently holds a license to prove their certification to AS/NZS 4766 : 2006 and is a member of the Association of Rotational Moulders Australasia. Below you will find a comprehensive list of all licenses issued by all certifying bodies in relation to AS/NZS 4766.If your tank manufacturer isn't here they are either not a member of ARMA do not currently hold a license or they have not advised us a license has been issued to them.If you would like us to check on your behalf just email ldonlan@rotationalmoulding.com
